California’s Class of 2029 has only completed one season of high school wrestling, but this young group has already shown plenty of signs that it could become a special class. This list highlights some of the top wrestlers in California from the class, featuring young competitors who have already made their mark at the CIF State Championships and other major events throughout the state and country. While it is far too early to know how their high school careers will ultimately unfold, many of these wrestlers have already demonstrated the talent, competitiveness, and work ethic needed to become future State placers and champions. With three more years of high school wrestling ahead of them, the Class of 2029 has an enormous amount of room to grow—and if their freshman seasons are any indication, California could be looking at another outstanding group of wrestlers.
