Class of 2028 Top Wrestlers
Paul Ruiz - Buchanan HS
Paul Ruiz – Buchanan HS
California’s Class of 2028 is already making a major impact on the state’s high school wrestling landscape. This group features an impressive collection of young talent, including state champions, CIF State placers, and wrestlers who have established themselves as some of the top competitors in California at an early stage of their high school careers. Many have already competed successfully at the state and national levels, and several have the potential to become multi-time State placers and champions before their high school careers are complete. With several years still remaining on the high school mat, the Class of 2028 has plenty of time to develop, improve, and make its mark on California wrestling—and this list highlights the wrestlers who are leading the way for what could be a very special class.
