Gilroy’s Travis Grace to Oregon State

California standout Travis Grace, a state placewinner and three-time Fargo All-American from Gilroy High School, announced his verbal commitment to Oregon State—the Beavers’ first pledge in the Class of 2026. Grace has twice qualified for the California State Tournament and placed eighth at 157 lbs last season, all while competing for a powerhouse program led by US Olympian and UFC legend Daniel Cormier, an Oklahoma State alum like OSU head coach Chris Pendleton. Ranked #13 nationally at 165 lbs and #65 overall in the class, Grace is set to compete at Super 32 and recently visited Corvallis alongside fellow California prospects Nathan Carrillo and Blake Woodward, as well as Ohio heavyweight Alex Taylor.
